It says you're not back until 2012, what's happened?
When my boyfriend Thom and I first met we decided that we wanted to travel the world as soon as we could afford to do so. It's taken us four years and a lot of planning but we've finally managed to achieve our dream of world travel. Regular readers will know from the last newsletter that I decided to mothball what sean saw in March 2010 but I have every intention of bringing it back bigger and better than ever when we return in 2012.
If you'd like to stay in touch with us and follow our travel adventures please visit our travel blog or if you'd like to keep up to date with exclusively photographic news you can follow my photography blog. If you only want to know when what sean saw is back in business you can re-visit the site in 2012 or subscribe to the what sean saw newsletter which will next be published when what sean saw re-opens for business!
Which areas of the country do you cover?
At the moment I don't know where what sean saw will be based when it returns, but it's likely to be in the West Midlands or West Country.
If I want a photoshoot in an area that you don't cover, can I pay extra?
If you really love my style and would like me to photography something for you then I am willing to travel anywhere in the UK, subject to availability and modest expenses.
For all shoots I cover an area of roughly two hours drive from south London and this comes without any additional fees. Events outside this area of coverage are likely to involve additional expenses, these expenses will be fully laid out before you make any final commitment.
Please use the contact form to get in touch and explain the circumstances of your event and I'll get in touch to give you a comprehensive quote.
Do you 'Photoshop' the photographs?
The best way to deliver fantastic photographs that you will love is for me get to know you and to make use of my skills to ensure that I get the perfect shots in the moment. I use professional image editing software and you can relax safe in the knowledge that you'll look your best in the final photographs.
If you have a particular theme or style in mind the pre-photoshoot consultation is the best time for us to discuss what you would like out of your final images.
How are the photographs printed and how much do prints of the images cost?
For full details of print media please take a look at the printing options which detail the cost, size and materials used in printing.
Do you sell gift vouchers?
Yes, I do! You can now order gift vouchers directly from this website for photoshoots of one or two hours. Each hour of photography includes an A4 print and the Full Service. You can also enhance the value of the gift voucher by adding the cost of prints, photobooks or other material.
Gift vouchers are valid for use until April 2010; the one-hour gift voucher is £60 and the two-hour voucher is £120. Order gift vouchers here.
When do I pay, is there a deposit?
All photoshoots, packages or by-the-hour, require a 50% deposit ahead of the day of the photoshoot and the outstanding balance of payment will be taken after the photoshoot. Additional prints that you'd like to purchase will be added to the final balance.
Gift vouchers are paid for in full and in advance of the photoshoot.
Do your prices include VAT?
The price you see on the site, or the price quoted for a specific project, is the full price including all costs and expenses. As a small business I do not pay VAT and as such I don't pass that cost on.
How long do you keep the photographs?
I guarantee to keep the digital files from all images for twelve months and you can order prints from the photoshoot at any point afterwards. I can keep the files indefinitely but if for whatever reason I would like to delete the images, I'll give you a month's notice in case you wanted to purchase any extra prints or purchase the digital files.
Might you re-use my photographs or put them on this site?
I absolutely love to share with visitors and regular customers images from completed photoshoots and I normally include at least one from every shoot somewhere on the site. If you would prefer not to have your photographs on display please let me know and I'm happy not to use them.
How do I order the photographs that I'd like to buy?
As soon as I've finished editing your photographs I will email you a contact sheet of the final images from which you can choose the prints that you would to see produced.
For the packages the costs are fixed and comprise agreed printed material. However, if you would like to purchase additional prints as well this isn't a problem and you can let me know when you see the contat sheet, or at any point afterwards.
All wedding photoshoots will be given a link to a private ordering gallery where additional prints can be purchased directly, by you or your guests.
Can I buy prints from your gallery, of others or of photographic art?
All the photographs that I currently have available for order can be ordered directly and delivered anywhere that you specify.
Can I get a discount for a big order?
Absolutely, in fact you can get a discount for a small order! The printing options page contains full details of the discounts available but the starting point for a discount is 15% for just 15 prints. This can be a combination of any size.
What is covered by your 'by-the-hour' photoshoot?
Honestly, anything. This includes but is not limited to family portraits, couples portraits, fashion shoots, corporate photography, event photography, parties, weddings, Christenings and so on
The only limit is your imagination, if you want a photographer who is available by-the-hour then you have found him!
What's the catch?
There is absolutely no catch. All my prices and services reflect a fair price for a fair amount of work. I'm as passionate about photography as I am about delivering excellent customer service and providing you with clear and transparent information about the prices of photoshoots and the price of printing options is key to this.
I operate a pricing structure that is very fair to you; you only pay for what you're willing to pay for. As a photographer, this means that I have to be consistent in delivering excellent photographs that you love and are willing to pay for. This keeps me fresh, relevant and excited about photography and is one of the best guarantees that you're choosing a photographer who will provide outstanding service and stunning results.
