All the guests were so complimentary of Sean and commented on how hard he worked all day, which he did! He made everyone feel comfortable on the day, which made the photos even more natural.

Sean also made sure that the photos we ended up with were completely different to what the guests had also taken, making them special and individual to our albums and to us.

I could not recommend Sean highly enough and will definitely book him again anytime we need a photographer. Thank you so much for capturing our special moments on our most special day!!! x

As we were having a very small registry office wedding with 6 adults and 6 children all under the age of 5, we did not want the inflexibilty of standard wedding photographers that charge a minimum fee. I found Sean through an Internet search engine and emailed Sean directly to check price and availability. As Sean charges per hour it made it both affordable and flexible as we only wanted official pictures at the ceremony.

Sean was extremely professional as he came to visit us at home to get an idea of what we wanted. He was also extremely proactive as he got to the registry office early to check out the location for other places to take some photographs. The results were so great we bought them all and some extra souvenirs of the day.Creatively decisive, reliable, friendly. What a rare balance! This is why I would always strongly recommend Sean.

Sean was a pleasure to deal with before, during and after the wedding. The children were relaxed around him and so were we. It was a lovely day made even more lovely by Sean and his fabulous photos. Thank you, thank you, thank you x

Right from the outset we were amazed by the genuine interest that Sean showed in spending time with us, chatting and getting to know us before the big day. He is a really personal photographer, you'll want to meet up for coffee for months afterwards!, his style is fun and natural, and yet he does not lose any degree of professionalism.

He was so flexible in working around the usual stress and lack of time management that happens on a wedding day, and spent a whole 12 hours with us. The finished results were absolutely stunning and after we had spent hours working through the original contact sheet, the photo book arrived and surprised us even more. Everyone we showed commented on the fact that he had really captured the atmosphere and mood of the wedding, both the fun and the special moments, and this set of photos is something we will truly treasure for a lifetime!

Thank you so much.

Working with Sean has been such a pleasure, not only because of his artistic and technical skill for achieving the perfect image, but because he met this project, from start to finish, with enthusiasm, energy and a great sense of professionalism, making the whole process as enjoyable as it was productive.

Creatively decisive, reliable, friendly. What a rare balance! This is why I would always strongly recommend Sean.

Sean Provided us with a fantastic wedding photography service that was professional and most of all was very competitively priced. Sean took the time to meet and talk with us before our big day to find out what we wanted from our photos and he took some practise shots to find out how we photographed best. He was flexible and organised on the day itself and we have both fallen in love with the final set of prints we received. I would recommend Sean for any function.

A really talented man... and a thorougly nice guy to work with. Sean has a gift to capture what is special... in a very special way. He brings excitement to the art of photography and is full of creativity and innovation. He will take your best ideas, capture them, but bring something even more special to what you'd hoped for. He cares about what his lens says and whatever is special to you. From what I learnt of this talented man, you really can trust him to capture the really most special moments in your life with his very own blend of magic.

I really cannot recommend Sean highly enough. At short notice, he coordinated the photography for our small and intimate wedding. He started with a friendly meeting during which he worked out exactly what I wanted - which was impressive given that I didn't really know what I wanted! He kept regularly in contact and acted with complete professionalism on the day.

We both HATE having our pictures taken, but we love the shots that Sean took. It's completely changed the way I think about photos - each shot brings out the character of the people and the moment they were in - you don't think about how you look for a second.

Sean made it possible to get these shots by making us totally relaxed - the shoot was massive fun in itself (a really great part of the day), and all the guests have been raving about him ever since!

After the wedding, Sean excelled himself by getting the shots together in super-quick time, as we were both leaving the country. Every time I look at the photos they make me smile - it's impossible to look at them without being transported back to those happy moments.

Top bloke - great photos. Book him - do it now!

As a new, emerging theatre company we really needed help marketing ourselves and using Sean's photography and his approach has helped us immeasurably. His creative, collaborative inspiration for being able to work with us in realising an essence of our company work, through pictures, was just what we were after.

What's more he's a pleasure to work with! We have used his photographs now for the sole visual source of our company website. I would definitely recommend him for artistic, personable and reliable photography that will ignite whatever your visions are.

We were thrilled with the service Sean provided from arranging the shoot through to receiving prints. We were able to choose a time and location to meet for a shoot at our convenience. On the shoot, Sean effortlessly made us feel at ease. The shoot took a number of hours and Sean's enthusiasm, creativity and attention to detail were excellent throughout. Shortly after the shoot, Sean met with us to go over thumbnail images to decide whether we wished to purchase prints.

Given the number of high quality photos, we had trouble deciding which ones to buy! All our prints arrived to our specification and quickly too. All in all, the whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable and we now have wonderful photos on our walls - thanks!

Sean came to our home and spent two hours with us taking lots of pictures of our extended family. The group included three young girls and Sean went out of his way to get them to relax and have play, rather than trying to get them to "pose". The result was a fun afternoon and set of natural and relaxed photos - just what we wanted.

Sean came to our home to photograph 3 children (9, 4 and 1), Sean made it a fun day for everyone with exceptionally great results! With such a varied age with the children, varied interests along with short attention spans, Sean made it all work and come together. Sean is patient and completely customer focussed. All of us enjoyed the session and Sean was a pleasure to have in our home. We would highly recommend him and look forward to working with him again in the future.

Sean came to my party and we spent half an hour or so taking photographs of me before all my guests arrived. I'm really pleased that he arrived early because it meant that I had time to warm up for the party and it made me feel special to have that kind of attention!

I didn't notice Sean during the party and no-one seemed to mind that he was taking photos, when I saw the final result I was amazed - he had captured so many natural moments in the party - people having fun, laughing, chatting and dancing.

Sean presented me with a collage of the final images as well as some prints and digital copy. The collage is brilliant - it feels like the party itself - lots of people mingling and enjoying themselves.

Sean was great. He worked out what I wanted even when I was unable to articulate it properly. He established a good rapport with my children - even though my son was in a foul mood. He spent ages with us to ensure he captured some natural and some supernatural shots. He allowed me to dither over my choices, and I am really happy with the results. Patient, insightful and totally customer focussed. Great service.

The professionalism and value for money we experienced with Sean was very good. We felt comfortable during the photo session to a point where we almost forgot he was there.

The quality of the pictures we received on CD shortly after was much better than we'd seen from other photographers our friends had used that had more qualifications than Sean.

He obviously has an eye for his chosen field and hobby, which makes for the perfect photographer. We'll definitely be using him again for future photo shoots and would recommend him to anyone. Thanks Sean!

I really was not looking forward to the photo shoot at all. I have always hated having my picture taken and approached with dread all occasions when a camera would be present. Despite being nervous when I arrived I had a fabulous day and it was fun.

Sean helped me relax and chatted throughout and I forgot he was taking shots of me. It was very relaxed and actually started to love the camera...(Secretly!!)

I'm usually someone who avoids photographs being taken of me at all costs, but Sean totally put me at ease. Before we started we discussed what I wanted out of the shoot and Sean took this on board, adding his own ideas and creative flair, in suggesting a number of settings and poses. I felt completely relaxed throughout the whole process, particularly as we were able to review the photos as we went along and use them to think about the next scene.

It sounds silly to say it, but I'm astonished by the results! Sean's managed to produce not just one but a whole series of different images that I absolutely love - and that look like me too!

I decided that for my Mum's birthday a photoshoot would be the perfect present so I contacted Sean to see what kind of services he could offer and he was very helpful and friendly and assisted me in my choice. On the day of the photoshoot my Mum was quite nervous but he made her feel at ease straight away and she soon relaxed. Sean was very patient and was often checking that my Mum was happy with the way the shoot was going.

The final pictures are absolutely beautiful, Sean really knows how to bring out the most flattering features of people and enhances them without making them look fake. It was a really enjoyable experience for my Mum and we are both grateful for the passion and attentiveness that goes into his work. I would definitely recommend Sean to everyone, he's friendly, kind and extremely talented and really cares about pleasing his clients.

Sean did such a fantastic job! He made us all feel comfortable, talked us through what he was trying to catch, he helped us to relax and concentrate on having fun as a family. Our two-year-old son loved it, I think because no-one was trying to force him to sit still and pose. The final pictures are beautiful and we're so pleased that we chose him to capture us as a family at this point in our life.

We both felt a bit awkward at first, a couple having pictures taken of thelmselves felt odd but after numerous arms-length shots that we've taken ourselves we're both pleased that we have a set of pictures that are special to us both and that look amazing. It didn't take us too long to relax and Sean deliberately left us to focus on each other - and carried on clicking away - this was really good because we chatted to each other and relaxed and with a bit of gentle encouragement we were hugging and snuggling up. What we really like is that instead of getting a contrived set-up, Sean helped us to create a genuine moment that he captured for us. We're both so pleased with them and we have already recommended Sean to our friends.

I was really self-conscious about being photographed but Sean spent a good bit of time before we started asking me lots of questions about what I wanted, what I was hoping to see in the final images and also what I don’t like - colours, styles, poses - that kind of thing.

Sean was patient and didn't appear under any pressure which helped me to relax and he explained that it was natural to feel uncomfortable with a camera pointed at you. Sean understood my nerves and we did some practice shots and after that I felt much more relaxed and full of confidence and I think that shows in my final pictures, which I think are great, and I'm really grateful to him for bringing me out of myself in the photographs.

Original photographic artwork

- Brett Rogers, Director of the Photographer's Gallery

Well crafted - I especially like the filmic quality of the lighting which adds drama to what could otherwise be an unremarkable shot. There is a strong dose of humour as well - with the shirt taking on an anthropomorphic role (standing in for its absent owner) 'talking' to the wooden Brancusi like sculptural post. All in all a refreshing take on the subject of loss/absence and or decay.
